This OE style camera provides superior high definition color, clarity, and excellent night vision! This camera contains the latest technology that even outperforms the factory camera in all categories! This camera system looks like a factory camera, but at a much lower price. This kit comes with all the wiring and connectors to install into your SUV. *Kit harness terminates with RCA so if you intend to connect to factory navigation you will also need to order an interface harness as described below.

NOTE: The interface devices mentioned above will not work on Intellilink/MyLink systems. If you have a 2014 or newer with either of those two radios you will need kit CS-GMSUV-LNK.

**Not a replacement for a burned out factory camera.

This camera will install in the bezel above the license plate. This camera will connect to your factory navigation, aftermarket navigation, factory video mirror, or any other monitor with an RCA input. If you are connecting to your factory navigation you will need to have your nav radio flashed by your local GM® dealer, which usually costs between $50-$100. To flash the navigation they need to connect their Tech II flashing tool and program part #2583-6479 to the radio, which will allow the navigation screen to switch to the backup camera display when in reverse. NOTE: THIS CAMERA CAN NOT INTERFACE THE NEW HARD DRIVE NAVIGATION SYSTEM IN 2012-2013. It will work with any non-hard drive navigation system in 2007-early 2012.

For factory navigation you will also need an interface device: CS-GMVSS is a $20 female RCA adaptor that get's plugged in to the factory VSS connector on the back of the navigation radio. This is the least expensive method for interfacing with the navigation unit.

Make installation even easier with an add on 12 Volt power source to eliminate the need to locate a power source on the vehicle and avoid cutting or splicing into factory wiring! See related item SKU: CS-RPW-P
