Shipping & Delivery
We work hard to process and ship orders as quickly as possible. Please review the information below regarding order processing, shipping timelines, and delivery expectations.
Order Processing
Most orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. Orders placed after 12:00 PM CST Monday-Friday, on weekends, or on holidays will be processed on the next business day. We ship using USPS and UPS.
Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information via email.
Shipping Timeframes
All carrier transit times are based on business days only and do not include weekends or holidays.
Example: If a UPS Next Day Air (Overnight) shipment is requested on a Thursday after 12:00 PM CST, the order will ship on Friday and is expected to be delivered on Monday, as carriers do not count weekends as transit days.
Please note that shipping and delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and cannot be guaranteed.
Signature Requirements
For security purposes, a signature may be required:
- On orders over $300
- For certain high-value items
- In other situations at our discretion
If a signature is required, the carrier will not leave the package unattended.
International Orders
We proudly ship to customers worldwide. Please be aware that international shipments may be subject to:
- Import duties
- Customs fees
- Value-added taxes (VAT)
- Other country-specific charges
These fees are determined by your country's customs authority and are the responsibility of the buyer.
Camera Source does not collect, charge, or control international duties and taxes. Any applicable fees are typically collected by the shipping carrier or customs agency before final delivery.
To ensure compliance with customs regulations, Camera Source will not alter product values or mark shipments in an attempt to reduce a customer's tax liability.
Billing & Shipping Address Verification
For your protection against fraud, we verify orders when the billing and shipping addresses do not match.
To avoid delays, please provide a valid:
- Phone number
- Email address
If additional verification is required and we are unable to contact you, the order may be canceled and refunded to the original payment method.
Shipping Delays
While we strive to ship every order on time, delays can occasionally occur due to:
- Carrier service interruptions
- Severe weather
- High shipping volumes
- Address verification issues
- Customs processing for international shipments

Domestic Returns Policy
1. General Return Policy Overview
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you decide that an item is not right for you and wish to return it for a refund, you may initiate a return within 30 days of the date of purchase, subject to the conditions outlined below.
2. Return Eligibility & Conditions
To be eligible for a return and refund:
- Item Condition: Products must be returned in brand-new, unused, uninstalled, and resalable condition.
- Original Packaging: All items must include their original packaging, tags, hardware, instruction manuals, and accessories.
- Non-Returnable Items: Clearance items, custom or made-to-order products, and items marked as "Final Sale" are not eligible for return.
- VIN-Locked Products: Programmers and select interface modules used for vehicle integration or system programming may become VIN-locked once installed. Programmers and interface modules that have been installed, activated, programmed, or connected to a vehicle are non-returnable and non-refundable.
3. Customer Responsibility for Return Costs
- Customer Responsibility: The customer is responsible for purchasing and providing return shipping for standard buyer's remorse returns (e.g., changed mind, ordered wrong item, preference).
- Defective or Incorrect Items: If you received a defective item or we shipped the wrong item, Camera Source will pay the return shipping. This is determined after you contact Customer Support, so please contact us before sending anything back.
- Shipping Method: We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service (UPS, FedEx, or USPS) and purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for return packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged during return transit.
- Original Outgoing Shipping: Original shipping charges paid at the time of order placement are non-refundable.
4. Restocking Fee
Products that have been opened, used, installed, damaged, altered, or returned with missing parts or accessories may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
The restocking fee may apply when a returned product is no longer able to be sold as new because of its condition.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Opened product packaging or seals
- Evidence that the product has been installed or used
- Scratches, dents, marks, or other physical damage
- Missing hardware, components, accessories, cables, manuals, packaging, or other included items
- Damaged or heavily worn packaging
- Products returned in a condition that requires inspection, cleaning, repackaging, repair, or refurbishment before resale
This fee will be automatically deducted from your calculated item refund total upon inspection and processing of the return.
If the returned product has damage or missing components that materially reduce its value beyond the standard restocking adjustment, additional deductions may be made from the refund to account for the actual loss in value, where permitted by applicable law.
5. Step-by-Step Return Process

- Credit Issuance: Approved refunds will be issued back to your original payment method. Depending on your financial institution, please allow 3-7 business days for the credit to post to your account statement.
