This kit is for a 2013-2017 RAM® trucks that have the factory installed 4.3", 5", or 8.4" display screen and is PLUG AND PLAY with NO DEALER PROGRAMMING REQUIRED! NOTE: THE NAVIGATION SCREEN IN THE PHOTO IS NOT INCLUDED.
Premium camera kit- camera will also allow you to see the rear bumper and trailer hitch for easy connections - even at night!
This OE style camera provides superior high definition color, clarity, and excellent night vision! This camera contains our latest Super CMOS technology that even outperforms the factory camera in all categories! Coupled to a OEM Mopar tailgate handle, this combination will look like it was installed at the factory. When you put your truck in reverse the camera will turn on your factory radio display and show you a crystal clear picture of what is behind you! This kit comes with all the wiring and connectors to install into your truck and connect to your factory 4.3", 5", or 8.4" screen. FACTORY NAVIGATION/RADIO SCREEN IS NOT INCLUDED you must have one of the screen sizes mentioned above.
This package contains:
- Premium Super CMOS night vision camera with optional display guidelines, mounted in OEM Mopar tailgate handle. This is our latest image sensor and has a super wide view and crisp clear picture!
- 25' pre-loomed wiring harness - allows for quick tailgate disconnect with a single connection by the spare tire area. All other electrical connections will be made inside the cab for maximum durability and corrosion avoidance!
- Factory radio screen interface - connects to your factory wiring using factory connectors, PLUG and PLAY! No cutting or splicing! This module also programs the radio screen so that when you go to reverse the camera is displayed automatically. No dealer programming required!

Compatibility
2013-2017 RAM® trucks with factory 4.3", 5", or 8.4" radio display.
Installation
Professional installation is recommended. Remove the radio and install the radio interface kit, which is all plug and play. Then remove the old tailgate handle and replace with the one from this kit, fishing the camera wire through the existing holes in the bottom of the tailgate and bed. The harness is over 25' long and will easily get you into the cab through an existing rubber grommet in the firewall by the gas pedal area. Connect the camera wiring to the radio interface and vehicle wiring system. Total installation time is between 1.5 hours and 2.5 hours depending on skill level.
