This OE style camera provides superior high definition color, clarity, and excellent night vision! This camera contains our latest Super CMOS technology that even outperforms the factory camera in all categories! Coupled to a OEM Dodge® tailgate handle, this combination will look like it was installed at the factory. When you put your truck in reverse the camera will turn on your factory radio display and show you a crystal clear picture of what is behind you! This kit comes with all the wiring and connectors to install into your truck and connect to your factory 4.3", 5", or 8.4" screen. FACTORY NAVIGATION/RADIO SCREEN IS NOT INCLUDED you must have the 4.3", 5", or 8.4 display mentioned above.

Compatibility
All 2013-2017 Dodge® Ram trucks with factory 4.3", 5", or 8.4" radio display.
Installation
Professional installation is recommended. Remove the radio and install the radio T-harness. Then remove the old tailgate handle and replace with the one from this kit, fishing the camera wire through the existing holes in the bottom of the tailgate and bed. The harness is over 25' long and will easily get you into the cab through an existing rubber grommet in the firewall by the gas pedal area. Connect the camera wiring to the radio T-harness and vehicle wiring system.
Make installation even easier with an add on 12 Volt power source to eliminate the need to locate a power source on the vehicle and avoid cutting or splicing into factory wiring! See related item SKU: CS-RPW-P
Total installation time is between 1.5 hours and 2.5 hours depending on skill level.
