Finally a backup camera kit for your classic body style Chevy® or GMC® pickup truck! We take a high quality camera and couple it to a custom bracket for a simple bolt on solution. This kit comes with all the wiring and connectors to connect to your monitor or mirror kit.
This package contains:
- Premium night vision camera and bracket assembly.
- 25' pre-loomed wiring harness - allows for quick tailgate disconnect with a single connection by the spare tire area. All other electrical connections can be made inside the cab for maximum durability and corrosion avoidance!
- Wire connectors
- 1" plastic snap bushings - for cable passage in the bottom of the tailgate and back of the box

Compatibility
Fits Standard & Extended Cab models with the 5', 6.5', or 8' bed. Also fits 4-door Crew Cab models with the 5' or 6.5' bed. Will work on 1999-2006 Chevy® Silverado & GMC® Sierra pickups, as well as the 2007 "Classic" models. Won't fit on the 2007+ new body style trucks.
Installation
This camera assembly will bolt into your existing tailgate handle. You will be required to drill two 1" holes; one in the bottom of the tailgate and the other in the back of the bed for cable passage (drill bit is not included). Wiring is long enough to get you into the cab on all vehicles so all connections can be made to the interior junction block for maximum corrosion avoidance. Installation is estimated between 1-2 hours for most DIY, professional install in 30 minutes.
