This new Toyota® Tacoma backup camera kit comes with your choice of either a camera module only, or premounted in a PL5500 or PL5400 Pop & Lock locking tailgate handle!

- Camera module and radio adapter harness only (without the Pop and Lock) - choose this option if you want to use your existing tailgate handle
- Camera pre-loaded in a Pop and Lock PL5500 locking tailgate handle (comes with it's own set of keys)
- Camera pre-loaded in a Pop and Lock PL5400 locking tailgate handle (uses your ignition key to train the lock tumbler -- no additional keys needed!)

Additional Information: This camera module will mount in your existing tailgate handle, or if you order the Pop and Lock the tailgate handle assembly and camera replace your existing handle as an exact factory replacement kit. The harness allows for the camera to be connected directly to your Display Audio system so you can view the camera output on your radio when in reverse.

Compatibility
2010-2013 Toyota® Tacoma with Display Audio radio.
This full harness config will come with an adapter harness and a 25' chassis harness that will go from the camera to the radio.
Installation
Run the harness to the cab, come through an existing grommet in the floorboard, then connect the camera harness to the radio using the included radio adapter harness. This harness simply plugs right in to the radio without any cutting or splicing and this harness will also supply power and ground to the camera, which makes things really simple. You'll remove your Display Audio Radio and install the radio adapter harness as per the instructions. You will also need to install the included reverse trigger wire into pin 2 of the factory radio bundle to trigger the radio into camera mode when you go to reverse. The total installation time is about 90 minutes or 120 minutes for DIY.
If you order the Pop and Lock you will simply replace the factory handle with the new replacement and then follow the above instructions.
