I was looking for something for on the back of my camper as I took the tailgate off my truck. I mounted it on the license plate and it works perfect. Its just what I was looking for.

I installed this on my truck camper in April. I was very happy with the ease of installation and the quality of the camera. A few months later the screen on my truck showed an error when putting it into reverse and there was no camera vision on my screen. I checked all connections and cleaned them. I figured since this is outside, subjected to the elements and extreme vibration, it just went bad. I contacted Camera Source via email and was responded to the same night by Tricia in customer service. She said that this isn't normal and was going to send me a replacement right away, along with prepaid shipping to return the faulty camera. I received the camera within 2 days, removed the old one, and installed the new one. It works like a charm. I understand sometimes, especially with electronics, you can receive a faulty item. What was truly impressive was the quick response and top notch customer service I received. I installed this in less than 15 minutes and it looks like it was installed at the camper dealer. This is all you need and is a lot less expensive than I thought it would have cost to put a high resolution camera on my camper.
