MADE IN THE USA! This is a relocation kit for the factory camera on GM trucks that shows in the full screen rear view mirror. Truck owner's often lose this camera functionality altogether when adding a slide in camper or other modification. This kit saves this expensive option! This relocation housing attaches to any flat surface and requires the cable to be routed to the factory connector inside the cab. Unplug the existing camera in the third brake light. Mount the new camera with the relocation housing on any flat surface. Run the camera harness to the factory camera plug, connect the cable into the camera wiring easily accessed in the cab of the truck. The factory camera that shows in the mirror will function the same as before, just in a different location. It’s adjustable with a stylish design that will look great anywhere! Display not included. This kit provides a way of maintaining the camera system if the third brake light camera is blocked by a camper, utility bed, topper or other mod.
Universal camera housing bracket attaches to any flat surface. Route the cable to the factory connector inside the cab. The camera connector is located above the headliner in the rear seat of the drivers side, fairly simple access to allow for easier installation for DIYers!
Plug the cable into the camera wiring easily accessed in the cab of the truck.
