My truck didn’t come with a backup camera so I decided to break down and purchase one. After searching through many suppliers and reading reviews, I settled on Camera Source based on them providing the entire kit plus programmer. Installation was easy after figuring out having to change parts around for my locking mechanism from my old handle. Takes time to get that part correct and installed from one to the other. Once that was completed then moving on to the plugs, the old ones don’t come apart easily but once you separate the old wire from the plug it’s a breeze. Moving to the programming piece and using the provided module in the OBD II port it does it thing and reprograms the truck to accept the camera. It works great so far and the purchase was well worth it. I did notice that I can turn off the factory lines from the screen and use the lines from the camera from my screen by simply uses the center dotted line selection in the bottom of the screen. Great clarity and perfect view. No reason to look any further than Camera Source if you’re deciding what camera to purchase. I highly recommend the camera!!
