Compatible with 2022-2023 RAM® 1500 trucks with factory 8.4" or 12" Uconnect 5 radio system with nagivation. Must have factory navigation, not just CarPlay or Android Auto.
Truck must have one of the 3 styles of front grilles shown in the images.
Removal of front grille is required. Once grille is removed, locate back side of RAM letters exo-skeleton. 3 screws hold it into place. Remove 3 screws and release the stock exo-skeleton. Replace with new provided frame with camera built-in and re-attach with 3 screws.
Connect camera cable to the main harness. Run the harness to the inside of the vehicle to the interface module.
You will need to remove your factory screen to gain access to the back of the connections. The module will be plug and play and stubs out to a female RCA connection for the camera to connect directly to the screen. Detailed instructions included.
Camera can be powered directly from the interface module.
