Description
Camera is FMVSS 111 compliant! This is a plug and play camera kit that will allow you to replace your factory tailgate camera with this mini license plate mounted camera!
Use this camera for salt spreaders, bed campers, bed removal applications, airstream tailgates, and any other application where you are required to remove your factory tailgate. Simply mount the camera on your license plate or any flat surface and run the cable to your factory backup camera connection for a simple and seamless installation. The kit comes with a license plate bracket and a mini-universal bracket, which allows flexibility in mounting locations.
Kit includes the following:
- License plate/universal camera with Super CMOS sensor
- OEM wiring conversion harness - allows the system to be plug and play with your factory camera connector.

Compatibility
2020-2021 Ford® Ranger XLT and Lariat
Ford® Ranger trucks with a factory installed backup camera. This kit relies on the factory camera chassis harness to operate. Not compatible if your truck has the 360 view system.
Note: The automatic lowering tailgate and locking tailgate feature is disabled when using this kit as it is intended for applications where the tailgate is completely removed.
**EVI Systems has certified this camera system to comply with FMVSS 111 regulations as set forth by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Testing has been performed jointly in-house and by a certified laboratory to meet or exceed the minimum requirements set forth by TP-111-V-01. FMVSS 111 field of view requirements and any other vehicle related certification is ultimately the responsibility of the vehicle up-fitter to ensure compliance.
Installation
Mount the camera anywhere! Versatile mount allows for surface mount in virtually any location. Camera tilt is adjustable so the view can be adjusted to accommodate any view required!
Plug OEM conversion harness into your 12 pin factory camera harness under the truck, behind the bumper, where you unplugged your factory tailgate. Plug camera into conversion harness.
