This camera is a high quality aftermarket replacement for your existing RAM® factory camera. This camera module will fit in your factory tailgate handle housing and plug into the factory harness, just like a factory camera would. This camera uses a Super CMOS sensor so the picture quality is crisp, clear, and colorful
Kit includes the following:

- OEM wiring conversion harness - allows the system to be plug and play with your factory camera connector, just plug it in!

Compatibility
Any 2009-2012 RAM® truck with a factory installed backup camera. This kit relies on the factory camera chassis harness to operate.
**Not compatible with trucks that have a power locking tailgate.
Installation
Open the tailgate to get to the back of the tailgate handle and camera connection. Remove the two screws holding the camera into the handle.
Disconnect the wire harness under the bumper and remove the camera from the handle, pulling the wire from the tailgate. Drop the new wire through the tailgate and install the camera in reverse order from the way it was removed. Plug the camera into the factory harness under the truck, behind the bumper.
