This camera is a high quality aftermarket replacement to Ford® part number BL3Z-19G490-B, or 9L3Z-19G490-C. This camera kit includes a factory tailgate emblem housing and factory emblem. The camera is pre-mounted in the housing and will plug in just like a factory camera would. This camera uses a Super CMOS sensor so the picture quality is crisp, clear, and colorful just like your factory camera was! In fact, we even replicated the factory parking guidelines so you can continue to utilize that feature for added safety and convenience.
This kit comes with the following components:
- Camera Source Super CMOS camera module designed to fit the factory Ford® housing and plugs into existing factory Ford® tailgate harness at the camera
- Complete OEM Ford® housing assembly with camera pre-mounted
- Replacement OEM Ford® emblem (BLUE)

Compatibility
2008-2014 F series trucks with factory backup camera in the emblem. This kit will not work on trucks that did not come from the factory with a backup camera.
NOTE: The factory zoom feature will be disabled with this camera and guidance blocks that fill in are not available.
Installation
Simply remove the old Ford® emblem from your tailgate by gently prying the emblem from the base. Remove the two screws holding the base to the tailgate. Gently pull forward to remove the base from the tailgate and it will expose the bracket holding the factory camera in place. Disconnect the wire harness from the back of the camera. Remove the camera and housing. Install the new camera and housing in reverse order from the way it was removed. Plug the camera into the factory harness and screw the housing back on the tailgate. Once the camera has been tested replace the factory emblem... SIMPLE!
