Compatibility
2007-2012 non-hard drive radio - GM® trucks that did not have navigation from the factory but was added later. This is the harness you need if you purchased a factory navigation system and it did not come with the brown VSS connector with camera input.
Comes with the full brown VSS connector so it simply plugs right in. If you have a hard drive radio (2012 or newer) contact us for the correct harness.
Installation
Plugs into the VSS slot in the back of your navigation receiver. Contains a female RCA plug so that you can plug a backup camera into the factory navigation screen.
NOTE: you will still need to have your navigation flashed for a backup camera by your local GM® dealer. The flashing process is what changes your navigation into camera mode when in reverse. Watch the video below to learn how to flash your GM® radio for rear camera.
